Swish Community Project
Collaboration & Design
Roles
The SWISH community website was a collaborative effort involving two other team members, a community partner who sought our assistance in its creation, and myself. Together, we conducted a thorough needs analysis, developed user personas and stories, and defined the website's requirements based on input from our community partner.
I played a key role in the design process, taking responsibility for creating the wireframe and contributing significantly to the final design and layout of various essential pages, including the "contact us," "news," "home," "events," and "collaborations" pages.

Project Overview
Swish is a QTBIPOC-centered basketball club and Chicago’s first queer woman/trans/enby bball meet up for the casual player. Over the course of 10 weeks we would create a website with the help of the founder Jamiece Adams. The goal of the website was to have a centralized hub of information for potential sponsors, new, current, and returning members, and to have a way to support Swish.
Needs Analysis
Prior to the website construction, it is important to thoroughly understand Swish's specific needs for the platform. This step lays the groundwork for conceptualizing an initial approach and guiding our subsequent actions. Below, is the essential website requirements, acquired from in-depth interviews conducted with Swish founder Jamiece Adams.
